A Few Things on Georgia

Georgia is the place you visit when you're next considering a vacation. Georgia has a wide variety of attractions. Places to visit, and have some fun.

You could take a tour of a swamp by dropping by Okefenokee Swamp Park!, and try out a free wine tasting some cheese at Meinhardt Vineyards & Winery.

If Georgia were a country by itself, it would be the 28th largest economically in the universe. (Woah.)

Georgia does not lack for a variety and mixture of fauna and flora. There are 250 assorted tree species. Notably among Georgia's native trees are: white hickories, oaks, sweetgum and even red cedar. Yellow jasmine and mountain laurel are just two of the flowering shrubs found in the state.

As far as fauna is concerned, there are white-tailed deer in almost every county in the the state. The freshwater fish are bream, and trout. are northern mockingbirds and 160 other bird species.

In 2007 Georgia's total gross state product was 396 billion dollars. Georgia produces agriculturally pecans, rye, cattle, hogs, dairy products, turfgrass, tobacco, and vegetables. These are accompanied with the industrial outputs of textiles, apparel cigarette and many other types of goods.

The city of Atlanta is a leading center of tourism, and industry. It's economy is further enhanced by the fact that it is located along major transportation routes. The State of Georgia employs approximately 150,000 people in .

In the state of Georgia there is a scholarship funded by the lottery in the state. This is the "HOPE Scholarship" and it is available to who have graduated from high school with a at least a 3.0 gpa and who attend a public college or universe in the state. HOPE is able to provide tuition and provides a stipend for books for up to 120 credit hours.
