Cornwall is one of the oldest counties in England, located at the far south west tip of the British mainland. Cornwall is famous for its miles of stunning scenery and is home to many hundreds of miles of public pathways. The area is particularly popular for waling and hiking holidays and camping expeditions.

There are also a number of water sports to enjoy in the English county. Cornwall is one of Europe's premier locations for serious surfers, due to the energetic breakers found around the whole coastline. Sailing, rowing and diving are also very popular with people an number of clubs offering both the hire of essential equipment and tuition.

For families, the coastal resorts and towns offer entertainment in the form of amusement arcades and fun fairs. These resorts are not as large and energetic as some of the larger seaside resorts like Blackpool and Margate, but they have all of the same family fun to enjoy in beautiful surroundings. Many of these towns are thousands of years old.

Of particular significance and importance in Cornwall is the Eden project. This is a garden community, featuring hundreds of exotic plant life all contained in a self sufficient atmosphere. The project is a stunning example of conservation projects that is owned and operated by a charitable foundation, meaning admittance is surprisingly affordable.
