When you have determine the right stance, you can starting cruising by placing the front foot in front. The back foot is used to push yourself along the surface. Once you starting rolling along, lift the foot back up. To turn, simply lean towards the desired direction.

There are three ways to stop. Footbreaking can be done by placing the back foot on the ground. Another way is to heel drag. The back heel must be placed on the edges of the board. Lean back and step the heel off. This makes the front half go up. If the first two will not work, it is best to bail.
